The longer review - The design works, the sound is good, there are plenty of options for recording. Overall, it is a good product. That said, the prices on these things are out of whack, possible a function of the market being small and mostly professional. I got mine for not much more than half of list price, and I feel like that was top dollar for this product.

Derrick, I think you know that's not really a fair comparison size-wise. Canon's 200/2.8 prime and 135/2 (with a 2x extender) would both be much smaller than the 70-200 which is just a monstrosity, a lovely monstrosity, but one nonetheless.
However, I agree with your point though. M4/3 (and even standard crop sensor cameras) are simply amazing in terms of space and light compared to full frame. Of course, you have to be committed to smaller lenses, but it's worth it!

The beefier 14-megapixel SZ-12 sports a 24x optical zoom lens and a "reto-chic" grip, while the SP-620UZ knocks down the optical zoom a notch (to 21x), but kicks the sensor up to 16 megapixels. The outfit's latest in point-and-shoot technology kicks off with the VR-340, a 16-megapixel wonder that boasts a "cosmetic toolbox" of digital makeup -- letting you digitally paint your unsuspecting subjects with eyeliner, rouge and the most... Anyone who uses a digital camera with any regularity knows that tools to help you manage and organize your images are a necessity, and that there are plenty of options to choose from. The addition of Wi-Fi to the DV300F will allow the camera to upload photos and videos to Picasa, Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube. Samsung's DualView cameras already had a cool and convenient front-facing LCD screen for easy self-portraits. Although for the most part it performed as it was supposed to, it's neither the most powerful nor the easiest-to-use program of this sort that we've seen.
