Zoom Error on Fujifilm FinePix A500?
My camera was working fine until a few days ago. When I turn it on, it gives off four rapid beeps and says "Zoom Error." The lens doesn't do anything either, it just stays shut and in place.
Well it isn't software, since that is located on your computer. It could be a problem in your cameras electronics.
Call the Fujifilm help line and talk to them. They will be able to help you.

I have a FujiFilm A700 digital camera and....?
for some reason when I connect the USB cord from my camera to my computer nothing pops up on my screen to allow me to upload pics like it used to. I tried uninstalling and re-installing my software but that didn't do anything.
Save your self a lot of grief. Buy a card reader (about $15) and use it to move your images to your computer .. no muss, no fuss.
